Global Pension Crisis II Set for March

Solving the Global Pension Crisis II: The Privatization Revolution, the follow-up
to the successful international conference held in London in December 1997,
is now scheduled for March 9-10 in New York. Once again, the Cato Institute
and The Economist magazine will be cosponsoring the event.
The conference participants will evaluate the experiences of
countries that have privatized government pension plans, examine more recent
moves toward privatization, and look at issues for the future both in the United
States and abroad. Invited speakers include:
