As Minister of Labor and Social Security in 1980, Dr. Piñera was the architect of Chile's successful social security reform. As founder and president of the International Center for Pension Reform (www.pensionreform.org), Dr. Piñera promotes the Chilean model of personal retirement accounts around the world.
