I oppose Social Security reform that would allow workers to save a portion of their payroll taxes in a personal retirement account. It seems appealing today when Wall Street is booming, but in reality it is very risky. It would increase the bureaucracy, it would be very complex, and I feel most people in this district would oppose it.
