In general, I am against the privitization of the present system. I am aware of the appearance that the return of Social Security does not match the return of other investment vehicles such as the stock market etc. Nonetheless, a balance must be maintained between a safety net and a pension system. To this end I am exploring alternative methods of funding the system. I plan to have a full proposal completed by the end of July. I will forward that to you and your organization when completed.
