Social Security Privatization It's Your Money, Your Choice, Your Future

Jim Maloney (D)

As the eldest son of an aging mother, I very well understand the concerns seniors have about skyrocketing health care costs and financial security.

Therefore, to protect older women and seniors, I oppose establishing risky private accounts, increasing taxes on benefits, means-testing, or raising the retirement age. I do support creating savings incentives in private accounts as a supplement to Social Security.

To preserve Social Security, we need to use part of the budget surplus to strengthen Social Security so we don't cut benefits.
